A disappointing evening overall at this restaurant. Food was mediocre at best. Service was lacking and the atmosphere was flat. Staff were inattentive and inexperienced. Would not recommend and will not revisit.

The food was delicious and so much choice, we couldn’t decide on what we wanted. Emmanuel helped us make our decisions and he answered all the questions that we had. He was very attentive and friendly even refilling our bottomless drinks, customer service was 10/10! Our party tried both new desserts, the banana cake and custard and salted caramel and chocolate waffle - both desserts were amazing.

I wanted a wholesome meal as I was staying locally due to training.
My partner and I are not local to the area so we search Google! Initially the satnav brought us the the wrong location so we decided to find another restaurant, in doing so we found this one was indeed open.
Granted it was valentines a was a little busy, however the manager I assume said someone will be over to take our take away order... I approached someone about 10mins later who took our order. He was polite and professional. He said due to it being busy it will be 20 minutes, we went shop and returned, in total it took 45 mins.
When the other server asked if I had paid I said I hadn't He then guarded the food with his life literally, I was very tempted to ask if he thought I was going tobgrab the food and run!
Anyway... we got back to out hotel and long and behold my chicken was missing. Frustrated and hungry I tried to call the restaurant over 300 time it was constantly busy! I'm sure they took the phone off the hock. Annoyed I just ate the rice and had some of my partners chicken but it was principle that I had ordered and paid for a meal which was incomplete. The food was nice but I doubt I would return unfortunately.

It was a pleasure having authentic food from my heritage essentially on my doorstep. Emmanuel did his level best to give us the most seamless experience. We’ll definitely be back again!

Really loved the food, music and the atmosphere. The food has a very kicky spice and the drinks are nice and juicy.

Food was beautiful. Drinks took a while to come and arrived just before our meal. Had a frozen daiquiri which melted all over the table because it was piled so high. Otherwise it was lovely

My first time at this restaurant with a friend. The food was lovely, expertly cooked by Chef Ben. We shared the banana cake with banana custard and sticky toffee pudding, both delightful and not too sweet. We were served by Kayla who was very friendly and accomodating. Great portions. We will definitely recommend and return.😋😋😋

Unfortunately not a good review. We visited for my hubby's birthday. We've been here a few times but it's fallen off. The food was awful this time. The lamb chops were very salty. The cocktail glass has shrunk mac cheese shrunk also. The service gone. Table not cleared in a timely fashion. However prices have increased ten fold. Not worth the hassle or money will not be returning

My mums birthday was ruined because they decided to allow extra people for another booking. I received a call 15 minutes before blaming the booking system. We was offered New Cross as an alternative, not good enough.

Booked for my mums birthday with small children who hace mobility issues, was told it was double booked then was confirmed that another party overbooked and they prioritised their customer service, went in to discuss and they didnt really care just offered a discount and told us to go to the new cross branch, if you value good customer service then I would advise going somewhere else.

Awful. Made a booking to celebrate my birthday with my partner , no tables so was sent on a 25 min walk to their tropical bar.
Staff were rude. Would not recommend!!

Came here with my son and partner, and from the start it was a bad experience, i had ordered 2 portions of wings as a starter the wings were supposed to be spicy, honestly i have had hotter walkers crisps, and on top of that the chicken was pink and not just one wing both portions which killed the experience to be fair... they did try to make up for it by bringing more chicken which was just as pink. I would not eat here again food is bland and undercooked i will most definitely be going to a west indian next time. Don't have this problem nor pink chicken...
